Popular activities include dolphin and whale watching cruises with Jervis Bay Wild and Dolphin Watch, exploring Booderee National Park and Botanic Gardens, diving with Dive Jervis Bay, surf lessons, cycling along the coastal paths, stand-up paddleboarding, horse riding and sailing charters. Most are within a short walk or drive of Nautilus Apartments in Huskisson.

The Huskisson Picture Cinema screens current releases and is located straight across the road from Nautilus Apartments. The Bay and Basin Leisure Centre (10min drive from Huskisson) has an indoor heated pool, gym and waterslide for the kids. Indoor Climb South Coast is also a good rock climbing option for kids on rainy days and is located in the Huskisson Industrial Estate (5min drive from Nautilus). Huskisson’s cafes, restaurants and pubs are also all within walking distance of Nautilus Apartments, making them an easy wet-weather option.

Families are well catered for, with surf lessons through JB Surf School, stand-up paddleboarding with Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle, horse riding at Valhalla Horse Riding, and a pool and waterslide at Bay and Basin Leisure Centre. Dolphin watching cruises and boom-netting are also popular with children and these cruises leave from Huskisson Wharf.

Booderee National Park charges a vehicle entry fee, purchased at the entry station on arrival, which covers all passengers in the vehicle. The park takes in beaches, walking tracks, snorkelling spots and the Booderee Botanic Gardens, and is around a 15-minute drive from Huskisson.
